Francis Borg

Counsellor

I have worked in the public and private health systems or over 30 years as a nurse, midwife and educator. In 1999 I widened my professional experience to include pastoral care and chaplaincy work, at the same time studying towards what has been a long time personal goal – to obtain a formal qualification to work as a counsellor.

I am a member of the Queensland Counselling Association, and of the Australian Health and Welfare Chaplaincy Association. I am also registered with the Queensland Nursing Council. I use a solution focussed approach, based on empowerment of the individual person.
